Trends of some agri- environmental indicators in the European Union

This publication is the result of a close collaboration between five services of the European Commission - Directorates General for Agriculture, Environment, Research, Eurostat and the Joint Research Centre (Ispra) - and the European Environment Agency and the Inventaire Forestier National of France. It presents the progress of the work carried out by the teams on the development of some agri-environmental indicators and their evolution, based on existing databases such as land cover maps, agricultural surveys and other spatial databases related to agriculture and forestry.
